Happy Halloween folks!

My day was uneventful as always. No Halloween related activities for me.


I've gotten into Dollhouse recently, by leaving the TV on FOX after watching Brothers and Til' Death. So I've seen about 2 or 3 episodes of season 2 of Dollhouse. It's a really good show and I wished I got into it when it first started. I think because something else premiered the same day it did and I picked the other show over Dollhouse. And if it was a show of CW11 I was better off picking Dollhouse because I don't watch of of the CW11 shows anymore. I catch up on Gossip Girl when the DVDs come out.
I'm working my way through the 1st season via Netflix. I finished the first disc earlier today and plan to move the other discs up in my queue so I can be all caught up by time the show comes back sometime in November. It's only 4 discs long so I'm good. Sierra and Echo are my favorites. I've already decided that I'll buy the series. Which is rare for my because I don't buy TV series since I can always catch reruns. But I've enjoyed dollhouse so much from the episodes I've seen on TV and the 4 episodes that I've seen of season 1.

I can't wrap my head around the fact the I'll be 24 soon. I'm a little scared... I think it might be more of a lack of not being able to put my feelings into words. I do know I feel kinda old. And 24 isn't old, Which makes me feel like a fool when I think about it. I really don't know once I'm able to sorta out my feelings I'll say more later.


p.s edit: I love this layout. I can't get over how my writings sit on the lines. And I got a new computer screen sometime in September. No more 800x600 res for me! But it does suck that I gotta track some wallpapers and hope that they come in my new screen res.

Let's see... When to Elizabeth, New Jersey to house/dog sit for my brother from July 22nd to August 2nd. Since he went to Brazil with his wife to visit her family. It was fun at first but after a little while Snoopy (the dogs name) stopped being cute. And since I'm more of a cat person his cuteness wore off REALLY fast. Plus his house has NO air flow. I couldn't get a decent breeze if I prayed for one. So it got hot fast and I didn't wanna have the AC on a lot since I didn't wanna run up his bill.


Summer is nearing an end. And of course that's when the heat wave kicks in. I'm just lucky enough that I didn't have to go anywhere this week. But it's supposed to rain tonight and maybe later on in the week but I'm not too sure since I haven't paid to much to the weather. Really hot days is why I don't like Summer. I'm not really a fan of any of the seasons, but I dislike Summer the most.


My mom's birthday is on Saturday and I have $7 to my name. And $35.20 in change in my change counting jar. And I didn't remember her birthday was this weekend until a few hours ago. Which really blows since I put $86 on my debt card. Since I thought I had no reason to keep the money on me. Plus I needed to make sure I had money on my card for my Dissidia pre-order. And I don't even own a PSP. She hasn't asked for anything, and I can't think of anything she might need. But I could just be blocking out remembering if she asked for anything since I feel guilty for not sitting some money aside to get something for her. I think I'll just cook for her and make her a cake.

God I really feel like crap for forgetting her birthday. Mostly because I had money and I'm sorta hording it for something for myself.

so haven't posted in 19 weeks, says LJ's front page. mostly because i'm lazy and don't have anything going on to post about. which isn't anything new but is a decent enough reason not to post very often.

i'm been in an icon making slump for a while. and i've recently gotten back into the icon making mood. mostly DMC 4 and FFVII: ACC because MY GOD they are very pretty. and I haven't even played DMC 4 (because i am too poor for a PS3 but i have sorted started saving up for one. and i haven't seen since ACC because i don't have a blu-ray player but i do plan to buy the DVD before i go to my brother's house for 2 weeks to dog and house sit since he has a PS3.) Nero (from DMC 4) makes the best faces i can't get over his expressions. I hope to have a decent amount of icons finished so i can go and blow the dust off of kabane and post them.

i've been spending TONS OF TIME at TV Tropes go to that site and when you start to get into the articles and hours will fly by before you know it. i'm not sure what's my favorite page on the site but you can't go wrong with the Crowning Moment of... pages. just pick one whether it be funny awesome, funny or heartwarming you'll be sure to enjoy yourself.

I read and finished Duma Key by Stephen King a few days ago. It was the first of his books I've read. I've always stayed away from his books because I don't really care for reading horror books. But my mom was like it was funny (she would come and read the funny parts to me). So once she was done with it she forced it on me. And it was REALLY GOOD. It did have it scary parts but not enough to keep me from being able to sleep. I really wanna read It now. Which is crazy because the 2 or 3 times I've seen the movie I was scared shitless. I want a hardcover copy of the book but since the book came out so long ago hardcover copies are HARD to come buy. And I don't care for paperback books since putting creases in the spines on books makes me scale buildings like King Kong.

I think I'll be swiping King's Just After Sunset from my mom. Since I'm dying to read something/anything of his right now. She did give me another book Virtues & Vices. Which she calls the book either with or about the perverts. It's okay or maybe it's just starts slow. But I'm not really feeling it, probably because I'm in a Stephen King frame of mind right now.

A small post just to show that I am a 5 year old in a 23 year olds body.

So I go into the kitchen to look for food. Why am I ALWAYS HUNGRY!? And I look out the window for the hell of it and see snow on the cars and grass. And look a little closer and see little snow flakes falling. I would love for the snow to stick around but unless the snow gets CRAZY heavy soon it won't even last till late night. But it is still nice to see snow even if it won't be around for long.


I picked up my P4 Social Link Expansion Pack from the post office today. There was no line so I was in and out. Which is so rare is makes me happy. The shirt that came with it is so nice. I'll use it as an outside shirt instead of a pj shirt.

Still no new FO banner since my computer hates me so I ended having to crop the iamge and then recolor it. Which I was too lazy to do right away But I'll start recoloring it again later on today. Plus I was too busy cropping screencaps from the new FF VS XIII trailer to work on the FO Banner.

So I picked up my copy of P4 from the Post Office today. I haven't played it yet because I've been to lazy. The Social Link Expansion pack should arrive on Monday. Instead I watched the Cowboy Bebop movie which made me wish I owned the series. I really need to get that series, hopefully I can find a cheap boxset.

I've also changed my layout and I'm putting the finishing touches on my new semi FO banner. Since I'm wiped tonight. I should have the FO banner up tomorrow.


Alright so I'm off to either watch Cowboy Bebop again or watch Gundam Wing. Unless my PS2 laughs in my face and tells me to try again like it did the last time I tried to watch GW and like it been doing when lately when I try to watch volume 3 of Fruits Basket.

So I'm waiting for KH Re: CoM to come in the mail. The Post Office said that they left a slip yesterday, so there sure has hell better be one in the mailbox tomorrow.


Amazon sent out shipping notices for my Persona 4 goodies and they should arrive around the 15th. But since the Post Offices online tracking says the items are in NJ I hope they get here on Saturday. But knowing my full of fail Post Office I won't get a package slip until Monday. But I've notice that since it's the Christmas season and all they have been putting out the slips when they should instead of holding on to them for FOREVER like they normally do.
I never understood why my post office plays games with the packages either they hold on to your slips for days or they send it out when they should and when you come looking for your shit they can't find it. And there's when they go to look for your package in the back, they be back there FOREVER. As long as they take back there you would think they got stuck in the Bermuda Triangle or something.
I swear my post office is the worst one I've ever come across. Plus they never have stamps or bubble wrap and whatnot. What they need to do is get a stamp machine THAT WORKS so that people don't have to stand on the SLOW ASS line just to get stamps. Only to be told 'Sorry we don't have any. Because GOD FORBID they open all 3 windows. I know the post office is notorious for being slow, but the wait time at mine is CRAZY.


I have to pre-order to new FOB CD since it comes out on the 16th. I still can't understand why iTunes doesn't have it listed for preorder yet. But they can list shit that doesn't come out until January and February. What about all the Countdown to Fall Out Boy stuff they were doing why do a countdown to an album and not even put it up for preorder.

So I've gotten my mom into Death Note. Mostly from watching the first movie and then when I was watching the 2 volumes of the anime I own, she came into my room and was like what are you watching. So I explained and after I was done with them she all but stole them so she could watch them and then I rented the other volumes from Netflix. We're up to volume 7 now with the infamous L episode. Which pissed her off so much she had to pause the dvd leave her room and play her computer games for a while before she could continue.

My mom always hijacks my dvds if it's not Fruits Basket it's FLCL or Spirited Away. I'm not sure what to give her next. I guess I'll give her The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Since she saw the box and wanted to know what it was. I'd give her Last Exile but I'm not sure she'll like it. But she's so weird she just may love it and hold it hostage like been been doing with Fruits Basket and FLCL. And since I only have a few complete series I don't wanna get her started on a series that I haven't finished and Netflix doesn't have. Like Marmalade Boy, I have the first box set and Netflix doesn't have the second set. And every now and then she'll ask where is the rest of Mayonnaise Boy. I love how she never remember the name of a series and will call if something completely crazy.

Let's see I've preordered a couple games and some calendars.

Persona 4 and it's Social Link Expansion Pack comes out December 9th. - I'm SO looking forward to this game. I still have to order the guide for this game.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories comes out December 2nd. - I never finished the DS version of this game. Maybe it's time for me to dig it out and finally finish it.

Persona 2: Eternal Sin - Not really a preorder but Atlus sent out an email saying that they are re-releasing the for game a limited time through Amazon. And I was lucky enough to snag a copy after they came back in stock. It's a PS1 game and I just hope that my PS2 is healthy enough to play PS1 games it's been giving me a few problems lately, mostly with playing DVDs. I haven't played any games in the longest but I guess if it can play a DVD it could play a game. Right?

I got my Hitman Reborn manga Calendar in the mail earlier in the week. I was a little peeved that YesAsia rolled it up. But it unrolled really nicely I didn't even have to put it over book and whatnot to get it to lay flat. I guess it's because the pages weren't as thick as normal calendar pages.

I also got email saying that my Kingdom Hearts calendar preorder is shipping. I still need to order the BLEACH Manga version calendar. I was going to order it from YesAsia but if it's like this years manga calender (which I believe it is.) I won't be because I don't want them to roll it up. So I'll order a copy from Play-Asia plus it's cheaper there. I just hope they won't roll don't up.

I'll have about $13-$15 bucks on my debt card after the Persona 2 order goes though. But I do have $200 to add my card so I won't have to worry about the other charges not going through. I plan to put the money on my card tomorrow or on Saturday if I don't go out tomorrow.
